Hi
yesterday finally get my 7I87 working, I did a fresh install and it worked out of the box, it shows the 8 analog input and 3 digital in HAL
however, I noticed that after some time (2 or 3 hours), it stops, and the red LED is on, also some messages are shown in AXIS GUI.
does anybody have clue?

Can you post the errors?
If you get a red light that usually means you have lost communications which
most likely is a power issue of some kind.

I will post the errors as soon I get to my house.
I'm using the power from the SSport at 7i76, do you think I should use a stand-alone power supply for the 7I87 board?
Thanks...

You can check the 5V at the 7I87 by measuring at the 7I87s TB1
The 7I87 draws a fair amount of 5V power so needs
CAT5E cables and both power wires used if the cable is
of any significant length

Yeah, that's not just the 7I87 but the 7I76 also so
looks like it lost 5V power to both the 7I87 and 7I76
If you are using FPGA 5V power for the 7I76+7I87
you may need to use a separate 5V supply

Hi
I have connected the 7i87 card to a 5v 3.5 amps power supply (same where the 7i76 is connected)
then run for all the night, unfortunately, it fails again.
now I have increased the servo thread period.
Thanks to all for your help

hi
I removed the 7i87 and kept only the 7i76, but after some time I get the same error (the one for the 7i76)
can this error have something to do with the memory (I have 1gb only)?

No, this cannot really be memory related.
Here are things I would check:
1. Your 5V supply voltage (especially when it fails)
2. That the cards are jumpered correctly for external 5V power (5I25 W2 down, 7I76 W2 right)
