Hello,

Is it possible to use CNC on a 5 axis CNC router, whose one of the rotational axis does not follow the conventional right angle rule. I have attached an image of a similar head for ease of understanding.

you need implement special kinematics module for 5Axis with this kind and implement RTCP. but there is difficulty in tool compensation like tool-lenght or ...
i not seen kinematic of this kind of mechanism available on emc.

I see no reason that it wouldn't be possible. But it probably needs a special kinematics module to be written. (these are pretty simple, though, just some geometry coded in C)

I recently made a simulation config for a 45° head. Includes also the documentation on how to derive the kinematic model for it.
