Lots of BIOS are broken.

Kill everything speed step, cpu throttle, power management etc related.

Kill all virtualization and read the wiki on wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?TroubleShooting

Correct I already did disable that and also all unused ports and audio, etc. latency is low after the first second after that I cannot get the latency above 10000 with youtube, two monitors and glxgears going. biggest blip occurred when installing software updates and I'm not worried about that failure mode. it is literally just when the program loads. the latency test open up as zeroes for half a second before it starts displaying data and once reset latency is typically below 6000.

Well, that error MESSAGE will only appear once, even if the condition occurs again! (It even says that in the message.) So, you don't actually know it is not happening after that. However, I have seen on some systems that it is the starting of the graphics preview window that triggers the message, and after that the timing is pretty decent. One other thing is to turn off a bunch of the graphic acceleration features in the graphics driver, or switch to a plain vanilla VGA driver that does everything in software. That can get rid of the DMA bursts or whatever causes the RT delays.

I agree the numbers were only coming from the latency test. I am using the default linux driver the free non proprietary one there is not option for the manufacture driver.

I would like a to be able to set my base frequency to around 15000(currently at 35000) but if I do linuxcnc will not even start just gives debug info.

What does the debug info say?
