I am not sure this is the right place for my problem but it is similar. i am using "AXIS" . Everything was working fine until I ran the config. wizard to improve the accuracy of the X and Y axis. Now I am able to load a program as usual but when I hit the run button, the controls dull out as usual but the program will not run. when the stop button is pressed all the controls come back to normal.
I am able to manually jog the three axis as well as use MIDI commands to move the axis I tried resetting the config file back to what t was but the problem still exists. The machine will run the start up program LINUX CNC engrave.
I have attache d the Ini. and Hal. files in case there is something I have missed

This sounds like a feed-override or spindle-at-speed problem.
Possibly the sample code sets over-ride on these:
linuxcnc.org/docs/2.7/html/gcode/m-code.html#mcode:m48-m49
Alternatively, perhaps the sample code does not select a tool, and your code does, but the tool-change loop is not configured.
To test this second theory, hat happens if you enter T1 M6 in the MDI window?

No reaction to T1 M6
is there any way to repair AXIS without reloading the whole Debian package?

I have been without internet for a few days. I finally re loaded the Linux package and now everything appears to be working fine. Thanks for your assistance and time.
