how to use gscreen? was created by thang

Hi,

I'm trying to use Gscreen in Sample Configurations/sim/gscreen/gscreen. But it's always show me the bug:

File Name: gscreen_debug.txt
File Size:2 KB

I'm using linuxcnc 2.8pre in ubuntu 16.04, preempt-rt 3.7 kernel. Any suggestion to fix this bug

just confirm i solved it by :
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-base

Thanks for the info - It's shouldn't crash because of missing that library - it should just be quiet.
I'll look into it.

I pushed a fix so a user will get a message about the missing library and then continue.
