oprating spindle servo with Mesa 7I76E was created by yrsiddhapura
Hello,
I have almost completed mine first LCNC project with Mesa 7I76E and i have used a Taiwan Made Spindle Servo motor.
Here i have a simple query with reference of 7I76E connection sheet by Norbert forum.linuxcnc.org/27-driver-boards/3191...ction-sheet?start=30 i have made all connections and axis servo motor are works well but i have query with spindle because as following spindle connections in that connection sheet it says to take 24/12 from drive to operate direction commands but in drive that i have used it getting 24v inside and use common to operate functions as shown in below pic.
so if i take common from drive to PIN 8,6(TB4) would work ?

Actually GND is (-) for analog in (0-10V) and it is completely isolated and COM is (-) used for function signals 24V. Now where i am confused is that if suppose i take COM(-) to TB4 PIN 8,6 instead of 24V(+) will work.
