You can run it in 2.7.15 but the driver will complain that its unsupported and the connector
names printed when LinuxCNC starts will be missing (other than that, its fully functional)
2.9 is required for it to be recognized and the connector names to be correct

Thanks PCW, now I know too! Any idea where I could've found this information besides in your post?2.9 is required for it to be recognized and the connector names to be correct

Actually the 7I94 should be supported by the current release
version of LinuxCNC (2.8.2) now
