I need help with a gofab cnc table

I bought a gofab CNC table and it is working but there are many things that are not as they should be. They promise free updates for life but there have been none for a year. The main issue I have is not being able to back up in the instance of a problem in the cut. The only way to fix is to replay the file from the beginning without the torch firing then pause and turn on the torch and start again. Not a problem on a 5 minute file but on a 45 minute cut with a problem in the last 5 minutes it sucks. Is there a way to move to a better solution without them. I know nothing about the programming. Any advice would be welcomed.
