Just read the sections pertaining to hal and ini files.

try this
sudo apt-get install python3-tk

I compiled master branch from source and just worked through each missing dependency to resolve it. This was one of them. I did resolve it, I can't remember how. Sorry I did not take notes now.

Some of these, I also changed the 3 to a 2 or deleted the 3 to install the 2.7 version just in case.

I must admit this is a bit too confusing for me I still don’t really understand it. Should I try to update to 2.8 instead of 2.9?
