Hello, I downloaded LinuxCNC Uspace 2.7.0 Debian 9 Stretch and installed it without a problem.
My pc is:
Asus P4s800D-X
Pentium 4 3GHZ
Nvidia Geforce FX5200 NV14 128MB
1 GB DDR400 x 2 = 2GB
Samsung 80GB IDE HDD
PS2 keyboard
USB mouse
ATX 250W power supply

The latency is very high, it starts at 36000ns and after a few minutes it goes to over 120000ns.
The installation puts the nouveau driver, I uninstalled it and the packages attached to it, when I try to install the nvidia 173.14 driver, it goes up to 100% and displays a kernel incompatibility message.
I believe that using the nvidia driver, the latency should drop a lot.
At sinaptic there is no open / generic nvidia driver for this video card model, only nouveau.
Does anyone know how I can solve?
Thank you.

I believe that using the nvidia driver, the latency should drop a lot.

That is not correct, the proprietary drives will ruin latency.

Any suggestions on what I can do to reduce latency? I disabled everything possible in the BIOS, but it's no use ...
Thanks for reply.

Are you planing to use it with parallel port or Mesa boards?
If parallel port, you will need the RTAI kernel for that PC as it is a single core Pentium 4.

I will use parallel port.
Ok I will put the photos here, is that the forum did not allow me to post the photos, but I will resolve this of the photos.
The files are 'amd64', will they work with my card / processor?
I did not find in the topic of the link you informed, how do I install them? sudo apt-get install linux-headers-4.14.174-rtai-amd64_4.14.174-rtai-amd64-3_amd64.deb?
Thank you again.

Maybe not, so your best bet and easiest would be to use the Wheezy ISO from the downloads page as that should work as is.

So, I was trying to use wheezy too, the latency was very high.
I was also unable to access the repositories to update Debian.
