Days too late, but LinuxCNC has its own special driver which works at the port level. You should not need any other driver for a compliant parallel card. And a non-compliant parallel card probably won't work at all.Background info; I've spent the morning trying to install the drivers for a PCI parallel card. I couldn't find the drivers anywhere, but suddenly the parallel port started working. NFI.
