I did fresh install again to verify and installing irqbalance was the thing that made all the difference.

Latency is only one part, you also need to look at network latency. Look here:

Servo period "must" be 1000000 (1 million), changing it changes a lot of other stuff like PID values.

Unexpected realtime latency are very rare after some doing some more testing

I'm running EtherCAT so I'm not sure network latency could be an issue here.Latency is only one part, you also need to look at network latency. Look here:

But I am trying to run 8kHz thread to match with my Delta B3 EtherCAT cycle time.Servo period "must" be 1000000 (1 million), changing it changes a lot of other stuff like PID values.
