How I can use the buildbot?I dont understand it

I am not sure it is actually working, there seem to be issues. However.

Open a terminal window:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/linuxcnc-buildbot.list

Then paste the required stanza into that file: In my case I wanted the 2.5 version for Lucid (Ubuntu 10.04) so it was

deb buildbot.linuxcnc.org/ lucid v2.5_branch-rt
deb-src buildbot.linuxcnc.org/ lucid v2.5_branch-rt

Then save the file.

Back to the terminal window:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install linuxcnc

However, I just tried it and got a proxy error for the buildbot, so it looks like it isn't working properly.

I think that is a general problem. I try the same and I obtain err 502 proxy server in the terminal

Yes, the buildbot is not working at the moment. You can see that the links from the main page are all broken.
Hopefully Seb is aware of the problem and has the time to fix it.

The buildbot is up and running. I just used it to pull down a new build of V2.5
