Stuck configuring 5i25 to run G540

I meant more on the physical wiring side of things that is the step and direction signals coming from the mesa card going to the drives.

Yes, my test is to literally move the parallel cable from the mesa to the parallel port, boot up my old linuxcnc config, and jog it around. I close linuxcnc, move the cable to the mesa, reboot the computer, start the 6i25 config, and get what I'm getting now.

I see, then it seems that there is something amiss with the 6i25 config. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with this mesa board so can't offer much in the way of support for that.

I wasn't thinking when I saved the files with a different name while pulling them off the CNC PC.

I tried uploading them with the correct names, but the uploader added a date to the filename.

Rest assured, the ini and Hal I uploaded go together.
