couldn't find mesaflash on my linuxcnc machine. downloaded it from Mesa, but it is windows, so i booted my windows machine, and tried the command, but it didn't like it. i did manage this though, if it is the correct info.

There is no need to load or use any firmware now, just do a config, save and close pncconf, and start that config.

Looks like the same firmware
Did you reset the 7I80 after loading the new firmware?

just power-cycled it, and i get a new error. my guess is i picked a firmware with no PWM

Yes, a ST12 config would not have any PWMgens
Mesaflash should have printed a message that you need to power
cycle the board or used the "reload" command to use the new firmware
