Mesa 5i25 + 7i77D can't cofig was created by Taichi
Hi, sorry for bad English.

I try to config 5i25 and 7i77D in pnccofig.
If i write in console halrun:
loadrt trivkins
loadrt motmod servo_period.....
loadrt hostmot2
loadrt hm2_pci
addf ******read servo-thread
addf ******write servo-thread
start

Diod 15 will blink green and in show command i see all pins, serials and encoders

But if i done PnCConfig i get error - "Parameter or Pin not found: hm2_5i25.0.7i77.0.1.analogout0-scalemax not found "

What i did wrong? Thx

Can you post the result of:
halcmd -kf
halcmd: loadrt hostmot2
halcmd: loadrt hm2_pci
halcmd: show all

as a text file?

looks like he messed something up with his pncconf config.

He's got analogout1 connecting to [JOINT_0]

I've never seen pncconf do that.

You can map analog outputs and encoders to any joint you wish
though I personally prefer them in joint order as it make the hal file
more readable for me.

Yes I know by hand editing the hal but he said he got this from pncconf.

You can assign encoders and analog channels in any order you like in pncconf.
That is, there is nothing to stop you from assigning analog 0 and encoder 4
to the Z axis. Reading the hal file would give you a headache but its possible.

I tried any variant in pncconfig.
At last i try change pins.
Axis X pwm - analogout1
Axis Y pwm - analogout0

When i use terminal everything ok.
But when i start linuxcnc i get error.
I think motmod not loading.
Maybe better reinstall Linux CNC?

Probably not needed. Dont think its Linuxcnc the problem. Post what PCW was asking.
