Chris,

attached the current configuration of the machine.

No spindle control. I need to think through the safety interlocks as the spindle has a pneumatic collet. I have to investigate the spindle speed monitor and interlock the air solenoid ( which is presently push button activated ) so that an auto tool changer functionality can be implemented.

So a basic XYZ METRIC machine.
Leadscrews are 5 mm pitch.
Servo motors are directly coupled to the screws.
Linear scale has a basic resolution of 20 micron but in quadrature mode the resolution is 5 micron.
The reader head on the scale outputs an Index pulse for homing as well as an end of travel flag ( a single flag for both positive and negative limits).

ya we prob should... I have most of a config built. I don't use mm often ans so a few bugs showed up..working through them

how about a actuall map out of the physical pins on which daughter board to be connected. as in ok my spindle pmw that i configured in the mesa tabs will be say pin 1, and 2 on the 7i48 p2 connector. does that make sence
