Maybe someone else can help with that as i have never used any of what is in the pictures. I have seen and used 2 other types of siemens drives but they are nothing similar to these. Servo motor in the picture is a permanent magnet 3 phase so you will have to try and make the drives work as the used ones are quite expencive.

Hello together,

i have promised that i will documentate that for others who want to follow.

I found the document about the encoder and the servo´s. I have found it in my assembled machine.
The page with the information is attached. I will collect the complete data of the whole project.
So the Signal is 10V!
I have another problem there is an board in the machine which control´s the scales of the machine. Is there a way to handle the scales without that board direct in the circuit board of the linuxcnc? The Haidenheim Controller is attached maybe anybody knows more about that?

Next step for us will be to order the 7i77 because our first ordered 7i76 can´t control the servos.

Thank you for the help!

Best regards

Leopold Schmidt

I can not help with the scales, but that is for sure a +-10V controlled servo drive, so 7i77 will do nicely.
Do not disconnect the tachos or anything from the drives. Only disconnect the +-10V and the enable so you can wire them to the 7i77. Chances are the velocity loop is all good if the drives are ok, and that you can easily check with an empty batery.

Hi everybody

Long Time no Info - sorry!

The machine is actually working and Everything is Running!

But one thing dont my c-axis is Not getting stiff enough ! And i can Even move the spindle by Hand 5 degrees in each direction!
The rotation for turning is quite Good and works!
Anybody a Plan how to Control the Motor in the attachment ?

war da noch die alte 802d drauf
die hatte die doppelsicherung der Achskarten
erst wenn beide hauptachsne stages angelaufen sind bekommt jede karte eine freigabe

Is the loop closed in Linuxcnc ? If yes, that would mean you need to add more P and maybe just a litle I term to tuning parameters of the PID loop.

Nein es war vorher eine Sinumerik 3T verbaut.
Das dürfte die Version vor der 802D sein aber so ähnlich könnte ich es mir vorstellen.
Hast du noch informationen welche Karten das sind?

Danke & Gruß
