OK, so you are wanting to add extra controls to the right of the screen.
There are two ways to add extra controls to the Axis user interface, the slightly old-fashioned PvVCP and the new-fangled GladeVCP.
If you look at the bottom of that Wiki link you pasted you will find links to a set of files. One version using GladeVCP and one using PyVCP.
You can get close to that config by adding the XML file from that page: (custom_pyvcp.xml) to the configuration folder for your machine, then add:
PYVCP = custom_pyvcp.xml in the [DISPLAY] section of the INI file.
Note that it won't actually _do_ anything, because all the buttons and controls need to be connected to functions and hardware in HAL, and the configuration in the Wiki page uses Mesa interface cards which I don't think you have.
So, once you have the extra buttons displayed, you can look in Machine->show hal config to see all the pin names associated with the new buttons, and edit the postgui.hal file to make the required connections.
This is what i have

OK that make sense.
So how do we make our configuration right for the plasma?
How do we set the start and stop point for the plasma on the drawing that we made?
And we need to get the THC working...

Does the plasma cutter have a torch on input?
Do you have a THC on the plasma cutter? If so what inputs does it use?
