I am working with a Sheetcam post processor originally written for something other than EMC/LinuxCNC. I am doing this in part because this post is already setup to work with a scribe and it will also probe the material when the 'next' pierce is greater than a specified distance from the last pierce. This distance is held in a variable within the post processor. The reduction in speed may be part of the THC control with in the post, too.
