Are you running windows?

Did you...

Burning the ISO in Windows

1. Download and install Infra Recorder, a free and open source image burning program: infrarecorder.org/
2. Insert a blank CD in the drive and select Do nothing or Cancel if an auto-run dialog pops up.
3. Open Infra Recorder, and select the Actions menu, then Burn image.

It seems in the past some have copied the file to a CD instead of burning the image. Not the same thing.

I have tried these instructions at least four times.

Perhaps someone in the US could send you a CD?

It does sound like your skipping a step or something else. If the md5sum is different each time use the wget method to download the file. Use a CD. Use the proper method to burn the ISO to the disk not copy the file to the disk. Use the recommended software and methods to burn the ISO to the disk.

Where are you located?

I've been trying all day to install infrarcorder, and it appears to be full of virus or virii, or something.

I'm now attempting to install "Free DVD ISO Burner" from cjnet. Time will tell if it works or not.
