Error while running linuxcnc simulator was created by uberlinux
I am using debian 7 with lxde and i just want simulator i followed instruction from wiki Also what are leftover files that i can delete and create a deb for my class mate to use it as simulator , but i tried using libgl1-mesa-swx11-dev but it still doesnt work

The most straight forward approach is to download the CD, and install it.Give it a try then continue from there.

i am sorry i didnt mention that i was able to run low graphic version , but whenever i try to run lathe or any of that version it would run show linux cnc splash and shutdown the terminal immediately

It sounds like a problem with GLX / Open GL , but unless you post the full errors and the end of dmesg output, we can't really help

Hi
I can't see anything from those.
Looks like you have a SandyBridge chipset, are using the i915 video driver, which is perfectly capable of displaying openGL, I used one until very recently.
You are either using a laptop or have a USB camera permanantly plugged in, if the latter I would remove it
There is nothing in dmesg, if there was a SEGFAULT etc there normally would be.
Try running it from a terminal and capture the error messages and use the axis_mm sim not the axis_9axis sim
What exactly did you run that worked?
Can you run glxgears OK?

i was able to run tklinuxcnc and xlinuxcnc also glxgears worked fine
