Arrows keys -> spindle in wrong direction

Hi guys,
been 'off-line' for a while due to my kidney stone problems.

So I would like to get back on track and get the closed loop setup and just realized that Z errors out with following error.
Can you guys have a look and see if I have some obvious settings wrong. Z axis is in the knee on my mill.

Since the ferror limits are really large, most likely possibilities are:

Encoder or stepgen direction wrong

Encoder and or stepgen scale wrong
