Right so you have not setup a static IP address on the host

What does

cat /etc/network/interfaces

print?

Did you re-boot after editing the file?

if "ip a" doesn't show a 10.10.10.11 ip address
that file has not been processed.
Also the GUI network manager should show
eth0 as "unmanaged" since the GUI is not allowed
to touch eth0 if its in the interfaces file

You might also try commenting out the

source /etc/network/interfaces.d/*

line, in case there some error in scripts there

Oh, Great, Thank work out swell......
I had commented out the line when i got one last message ('hm2_7i92.watchdog.timeout_ns' not found)
I went back to the ini.file and added back the 'dot zero' (after the board number)That i had removed in trial...

It now loads up fine...

You guys are amazing, I always find it hard to rely on others,
But you guys have been great...

If this is for a G540, you really don't assign pins except for inputs like limit
switches and outputs for spindle on, coolant etc

If you wire the G540 in a way the matches its axis names you do want to
assign stepgens in the order
0 = X
1 = Y
2 = Z
3 = A
Since the 7I92 G540 firmware wires stepgens 0..3 to the G540s in this order
