Hello guys,
I have a new bought Mesa card 7i76e and a Celeron J1800 mini computer. There are two software available: Linuxcnc-stretch-uspace-i386-r13 and Linuxcnc-stretch-uspace-amd64-r13. Which one is suitable for my use? Hope someone give me a guide.

The amd64 one is much larger in size than the i386 one(15.7G vs 1.3G). What effect to the CNC operation if my new computer install the i386 one? (as my SSD is 30G and I want to keep the original Win7 and dual boot with Linuxcnc, in that case only 12G is available), Thanks.

That can not be right, for sure. They should be very close in size. The amd64 one is much larger in size than the i386 one(15.7G vs 1.3G).

For previous installed 2.7 version, it worked. But after updating to 2.8 one, it doesn't, with the error report showed in attachment. How can it be fixed? Thanks,

you are refering to a NEWER Computer but took the old J1800 not the newer J1900
going i386 with a 64bit processor is not the best way so go for the MINT if you dont want a big install

After installing 2.7ver, then went to Repositories and terminal updating as in attached image. What is the mistake?
