I do like them a lot and use them extensively !.. Just digging into din rails and terminal blocks. I've never used them before, but it really seems like the way to go!

Hey Mr. Brainz, I've got the Odroid H2+ running, 16GB RAM, 256 SSD drive. I don't know how to read these latency tests, but I don't get a sense this is good.
Do you or any one have a list of bios tweaks? Tommy was talking about using AHCI and disabling serial-ata power saving. I'm about to poke around in there, but I really only know enough to be dangerous, as they say.
Here are a few of the settings that I feel might affect performance, but don't really know. I'd hate to recreate the wheel here. If any has tweaked this stuff before, please chime in.
Help me Obe Won Kenobi, you're my only hope.
Here is another latency test after doing a few bios tweaks that seemed to make sense to me. I forgot what I did already. Not very methodical, I know. Oh wait, I remember one of the tweaks, there is a setting in there to tell the bios which OS you're using. The default was Windows, I changed it to linux.
Cheers,
T-

BeagleBrainz mentioned isolating cpu 2 and 3 at www.forum.linuxcnc.org/9-installing-linu...3-linuxcnc-odroid-h2
Not sure if that helps

I would disable:
Intel Virtualization Technology
VT-d
EIST
Turbo Mode
and try again

Try This:All the other options I left default, Repeated the same for Port 2,3,4,5,6
The above made the biggest change.
Under CPU Configuration I haveAnd all four cores set to enabled
Under CPU Power Management ConfigurationWhich then disables the Turbo option anyways.
Other options were left as default
I've only tested with a NVME module. SATA & eMMC I can't vouch for.
Most recent tests haven't required isolating any CPUs.
Sorry to be a pain Tommy but is it possible to merge this thread with this one forum.linuxcnc.org/9-installing-linuxcnc...3-linuxcnc-odroid-h2 ?
Just so everything is in the one place ?
Chipset ->
PCI Express Configuration ->
PCI Express Root Port 1 ->
ASPM [Disable]
The above made the biggest change.
Under CPU Configuration I have
Active Processor Cores [enabled]
Under CPU Power Management Configuration
EIST [disabled]
Chipset ->
South Cluster Configuration ->
HD-Audio Configuration ->
HD-Audio Support [disable]
HD-Audio DSP [disable]
HD-Audio Clock Gating [disable]
HD-Audio Power Gating [disable]
HD-Audio PME [disable]
I've only tested with a NVME module. SATA & eMMC I can't vouch for.

Did you encounter any issues that were worth reporting ?
What kind of storage are you using ?
I've only been using a NVME module.
