Thank you for sharing findings.
I am trying to achieve the same for Delta B3 drives.
i have questions regarding two points:

1. cia402.comp line 240
      change (statusword >> 10) to (statusword >> 12)
-  did you download this component from  github.com/dbraun1981/hal-cia402/ and manually compiled and installed it?

4. cia402.ini
       in [joint_0] be sure:
           HOME_SEQUENCE = 0 (or whatever sequence number is appropriate)
           HOME_USE_INDEX = YES
           HOME_SEARCH_VEL = 0
           HOME_SEARCH_VEL = 1 (or any non-zero value)
- here is HOME_SEARCH_VEL stated two times - maybe one should be HOME_LATCH_VEL?

I tried your config in mode 34 but instead of finding the index pulse it just zeroes the current position.
Although after that if I unhome a joint and then home it again it goes to the initial postion (even multiple turns if it was moved that much).

I have also tried with other homing modes but it results in the same situation.

Kind regards

I tested your attached files (including install attached cia402, cia402_homecomp files, successfully) in current LinuxCNC.
with LC10E - EEPROM version V1.04

Power on is OK, Jog each axis is OK,
But X axis cannot stop when I pressed [Home All] button.

In Halshow window, cia402.0.opmode = 8 always.

What am I missing ?
Does anyone know any update for it ?

Hello everyone.
I need help for homing LC10E.

I've read cia402.comp and cia402_homecomp.comp ( the latest version )

1)
This line was commented out in last commit in cia402_homecomp.comp Line 217.
//customH[joint_num].request_custom_homing = 1;

2)
In HAL,
net x-home-request joint.0.request_custom_homing => cia402.0.home

I think cia402.opmode doesn't change to homing mode(6) because of it.

Should I use older version of cai402_homecomp to get driver-homing work?
(if in this situation, which version should I use ? )
