I guess the I/O module isn't EtherCAT certified if it performs so poorly?

Looks like the slaves are out of order, I mean disorder, not right numbered.
Check with "ethercat slaves" that the cia402 drive really is slave 3.
Looks to me like the Beckhoffs didn't start up properly.

OK, that needs editing the /etc/fstab file and omitting or deleting the line containing the uuid of the missing drive.
In a terminal:
sudo nano /etc/fstab
edit and save with
CTRL+o and exit with CTRL+x
Do mind that deleting or omitting the wrong uuid will fail to boot completely.

Thanks. I’m having a hard time reading the ini and HAL file I can seem to find the Scale value for the B axis in his files. And the touchy/ axis version don’t want to launch on my newer version. Was just taking a shot in dark.

I am trying to get ohmic sensing to work using a mesa 7i97t, thcad-2(jumpers on low range and 1/32), and a 24v power supply(meanwell hdr-15-24).

I have tried rodw's ohmic comp and ohmic comp3, as well as try many variation in the hal file mentioned in the original ohmic post/thread on this forum.
While I have no doubt there are issues with my hal file, I can't seem to get any response from the encoder in halshow, so I'm starting to wonder if I'm even getting a signal.
I tried using a multimeter to test the thcad outputs, but I don't know what I should be looking for. Is there a good way to test this?

I have it wired up similar to the diagram in the manual. I am using a 370k(or maybe 390k, can't remember) resistor between 24v+ and the thcad.
Since all the controls are on the gantry(this is a retrofit), I connected the 0v on the power supply to the buss bar on the gantry which in turn is wired to the star ground on the frame. I also connected the thcad shield terminal to the same buss bar.

The plasma is a ht hsd130 which uses a high frequency start. I previously damaged a 7i97t(which has been replaced) starting the plasma. I wonder if I could have damaged the thcad, as well. 
How can I protect the mesa boards from the high frequency start? Would a relay between the torch tip and thcad be enough? I assume it would need to be a special relay.

 Hello, everyone! I'm writing here so as not to clutter up the forum with unnecessary topics.
I can't seem to properly configure the display of the rotation axis on QtDragon.
I tried setting GEOMETRY=AXYZ  and GEOMETRY=!AXYZ, and I changed both TRAJ and  KINS, but the rotation axis is still not displayed. For example, in this code there are 4 rotations of the A axis, but it draws like this

Hate to open this back up, but after a 2-week hiatus I came back and linuxcnc doesn't seem to start with the Clearpath drive connected. I don't recall editing anything since it was working, but I doubt that's actually possible. It might be something simple, but here's the error:

The SANGE I/O module has an unreliable EtherCAT implementation — it often loses connection and is not detected reliably in the network. The ESI file is either missing or contains errors, which requires manual editing.The polling cycle is no better than 10 ms, which is too slow for real-time control.Hardware quality is poor: weak isolation and possible false input triggers.There is practically no support from the manufacturer.

Overall, not worth buying.

Looking at your .ui file it seems that you have a 'HAL_Table' inside a 'HAL_HideTable' object:
 

Which would explain why this would make your panel disappear (because it is actually controlling the 'HAL_HideTable' object):
setp gladevcp.table1 1

And also why commenting it out, 
#setp gladevcp.table1 1

Shows an inactive panel because 'HAL_Table' (with id=schalter)) is not set True by any signal.

3. I would recommend using a simple texteditor to edit the files not a word processor like the one in your screen shot.
