Yes, you will not even feel the change, except you use a rotary axis.
You may feel a speed increase in gui reaction, as i cleaned up some stuff.
So screen 2 is not availible any more and also the additional DRO button are gone.

Most useres should not get any problem after an update.

No, you can not use gmoccapy 3.0
To use it you will need master branch.

To test, just get the branch mentioned in an earlier post and compile as rip-environment.

Ich you do not know what i am talking about, we will need to begin very at the beginning.

First, I would need to understand if it worths/requires making the update.
I am using debian 9 preempt rt, I just ordered a capacitive display from aliexpress, I wanna build the controller for my mill.
For the controller itself I will use the minimum amount of buttons, cycle start, feed hold, and some other buttons that might improve the operating experience.
Does this new update adds something more relevant to gmoccapy that would improve the touch screen experience?
I assume I don't have to do any changes to my actual debian instalation.
I would assume its just new version of emc2 that includes these updates.
Also, do I need to make any changes to my ini/hal files or update to 2.8?
