Spindle Load feedback in Gmoccapy

For getting the Glade catalog for Gtk2 (LinuxCNC 2.8) working, following needs to be done:

First check with
Code:
pkg-config --variable=catalogdir gladeui-1.0
the directory of the glade catalog.
For me it was
Code:
/usr/local/share/glade3/catalogs

Then get the "lib/python/gladevcp" directory from the source code repository ( github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/tree/2.8/lib/python/gladevcp )
and copy all files from that directory to the above mentioned directory.
For example
Code:
git clone -b 2.8 https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc.git --depth 1 cd linuxcnc/lib/python/gladevcp sudo cp -r * /usr/local/share/glade3/catalogs

This worked at least for me for glade-gtk2.

Which version of Glade have you installed? (And which version of LinuxCNC
If you are on LinuxCNC 2.8 then you need the Glade version here: www.linuxcnc.org/dists/buster/base/binar...k2_3.8.6-1_amd64.deb
But it is probably best to get it through the package manager. Make sure that you are getting a package called glade-gtk2.

I am trying run spindle_load.py for LCNC 2.9 by HansU, but it types:

I  use RIP instalation.
