Hi
I apologize but there are more than 200 posts
I looked through them, I didn't find an answer, maybe I missed it.
I was wondering if the Stlink tool in Debian is suitable for flashing the NVEM V5
if so, I don't know what should be inserted in "Goto address" maybe 0x080000?
thanks

A few years ago, I built a HyperCube EVO 3D printer, which still works perfectly to this day.
Thank you!
I accidentally came across this thread and immediately thought that it must be something good. Regarding 3D printers, I have some boards based on an LPC processor. I did a few tests with SPI but gave up because I saw it was a dead end...
I have a question: Which controller is the best to buy at the beginning of 2025? Which one is the fastest and the least problematic?
Thank you!

Am I missing something with index enable? I have the Z phase connected to remora.input.13. hal pin lights up every rotation. But I am getting no index enable lights on when I turn it. Should I connect the encoder phase z to index enable ?
Iv also attached a pic of the config file. I'm using the WhA and whB

spindle enable is something that gets turned on and off when you are about to do a tapping operation or something. when spindle-index is high, when it rotates and sees the index pin, the index enable will go low and one of the spindle counts resets. if you are using the hal file from me, its already connected to what it should be. you can turn the index enable pin on in halshow, and when you rotate the spindle you should see it turn off when you hit the index

Yes I have your config. It's also for CSS? I have the cycles add on installed. When I try and turn something. It starts the tool change , and starts the spindle but then nothing. Id image it's waiting for spindle index enable.
When I set spindle.index-enable to true in halshow it's says parameter or pin not found
Trying to set any of the others like spindle-encoder.index-enable etc says it's already connected to a signal

Hello,
Does anybody know how data is formatted for NVMPG to display XYZ data, etc.?
I wanted to use this mpg in another project, but I cannot make it work from source files for stm32 and linuxCNC.
If anybody has a spreadsheet of these signals or a logic analyzer to see what is going to the mpg, I would be grateful, and I could make a tutorial about using it for other stuff as a cheaper alternative to other mpg.
All I know for sure at the moment is the baudrate and button codes, but it was an easy part of it...
Thank you in advance

Iv finally got the encoder somewhat working. Just the confirm , the ec500 outputs a normal 0-10v signal for the spindle or is there a pwm conversion done in remora? I can adjust the spindle speed in the axis GUI and the 0-10v adjusts steady when measuring the ec500 VSO pin with a multimeter. When I am in CSS mode the spindle speed keeps dipping whenever there is a spindle speed change when X moves. If there is a lot of speed changes the spindle nearly stops. When I measure the voltage on the vfd 10v input the voltage drops on every speed change and then gets up to the correct voltage. Looking at the rpm scale etc in halshow show numbers steady when changing speeds. Any ideas what is causing this.
