Hmmm... Features is based on GladeVCP so probably it can be packed into Gmoccapy, but it calls axis-remote to reload the file - so that can cause problem...Hi Nick
Have you tested this with Gmoccapy or do you know if anyone has?
subprocess.call(["axis-remote",PROGRAM_PREFIX + "/features.ngc"])
Can you attach your xml file...I have no calculators widgets in my xml files. Am I missing something to install?

Have a look at my post #44102 one page back, there is everything you need to get features running.
Hope that helps

It loads fine but it seems that here could be a permissions problem as I cannot save anything nor will it post to axis. Must I set something somewhere that I missed maybe?

If I were you I'd start over my install instructions, you need to start the Linuxcnc configuration as below
- First start by going into the Linuxcnc configuration selector and choose ngcgui -- comprehensive example and let it copy all the files
I can't recall but I think I did all that as my normal user, not as root or sudo
heres a page that shows a screen shot of the initial Linuxcnc configuration selector
