The Denford NovaTurn uses Inductive Sensors, BES 517-352-NO-L. I currently have them functioning in PathPilot. X and Z reference works correctly and also sets the soft limits.
Will post video soon and use PathPilot to make initial test parts.

New updates at CNCZONE;
NovaTurn at CNCZONE
I had to change out the Denford tool post to a AXA style quick change tool post. Now I can follow the 15LSlant-Pro videos for tool offsets and set-ups. I am still looking for a suitable auto tool changer to modify for this lathe. Initial test cuts look promising. Initial diameter 0.3312 wanted 0.3151( Yaskawa SGMP motor shaft diameter), measured with micrometer 0.3153, delta = 0.0002.
Just to make it clear, I am running PathPilot on this system.

Why? It should be entirely possible to use the Denford changer with LinuxCNC or PathPilot

The Denford tool changer was not complete. No additional components, only one tool holder.
I do not think that parts can be purchased for this style of manual tool changer.
Thanks,
Iron-Man

Ah, I was assuming you had one of the Denford automatic tool changes.
I thought that the Denford manual toolpost was a perfectly standard Dickson style?

Andy I did not know it was a " Dickson style" tool changer. If I can only find a Denford auto tool changer or suitable one, I will be set. It looks like I will have to machine one, when the Triac is refitted and running.
Thanks,
