Also I forgot to say I would also suggest extending the base of your gantry end out some distance so you can run a brace up to the top of your gantry to stiffen it up. Just in case you do something silly like I did and get your steppers to accelerate at 0.5 G!
My gantry ends are quite different now.....

The casters are a mix of GD150F for the main 150x150 legs and GD80F for the iside legs.

The 150F is rated to 1500kg and the 80F to 550kg.

Hat you cant see in the pic is the mounting plate. Im guessingyour looking at the adjuster bolt that lowers the wheel. Thes normall sit on the pad and the wheel is only down to move it.

If it was to be moved it would be with the forklift or the tractor doing the moving

Ive just really been working on the table and Y rails setup.

The Gantry and Riser plate is just there to tie it together for now.
Once I put all the hardware into the table ill start on the drive for the Y and then getting the X znd Z details in.

I tried hard to get feet and casters to coexist but was never happy the arrangement would be rigid. So the casters come off to fit the feet.
So we welded a M30 x 2mm nut on the inside of the bottom end cap for the leg and used M30 x 20 threaded rod for the adjustable leg. The base is 100mm dia 10mm thick lasercut steel. I turned the threaded rod down for 5mm so it was a press fit into the base and plug welded it from the bottom. a M30 half nut as a lock nut and its very solid.

I will go with the leveling casters and if they work out great otherwise it's not hard to remove them and put in feet.

Probllay have some time to do some design work today.
Need to make some decisions on the x axis stepper mount.
