The shape wizard in QtPlasmaC can manipulate already opened files even when not created with the wizard, so it has the "new" button if you want to get rid of what was already opened.

I have now recived my THCAD card. My thoughts is to mound thad card on the plasma to hold all the high voltages on the plasma. Is this how you should recomend me doing it? I think that i have some aluminiumbox that i can mount it in.

No need for aluminium case, i use plastic mounted on the back of the plasma source.
Just one thing to mind, use shielded cable from the THC to the control box, connect the shield only on the control box.
STP CAT5E or CAT6 cable for networking works for that and is cheap and found easily.

Hi! I have bought a new plasma (Herocut 55x) now with pilot arc and should use that instead of the HF-start machine that i have used.
Can the THCAD-10 card work without any modifications to this card?
In the attached picture i have questiions how i should connect the lower plug. On my old plasma i just have a relay that drives connects/disconnects the torch button. Now four cables?
Can i add the THCAD card inside the main unit or should i avoid that and put it separatly.
I see that i need to read up how to connect the THCAD card. i don't yet understand these ports and how they work.

You don't need FREF so if you use 4 pair CAT5. I would wire it:
one pair +5V (use pair for lower voltage drop)
two pair GND (use 2 pairs for lower voltage drop)
one pair FOUT+ and FOUT-

Thanks! Do you know how the arc starting signal from the output works? Sould i wire it some where or is that unnecessary when using THCAD?
