I have finally got the wiring to work! Here is a link of the first movement from configurating the axis.
I however now had a bit of a surprise when i was going to configure PlasmaC. I hoped that i could run it with no THC, but that didn´t seem to be the case? I had hopes that I could use the height probing and the settings for that from PlasmaC.If it´s not possible to run no THC with PlasmaC I would appreciate if someone could point me to the right direction. Thanks!

You can use PlasmaC with no THC in mode 2 and by ignoring the ARCOK signal.

Now to the next problem. With my wiring for the NPN sensors (with resistor) i need to invert the input signals (now they are triggered when no object is in front om the sensor). In the configuration for Linuxcnc it seems that i can´t invert them there.
Is it under the HAL file i will do the inverting?

Yes in .hal file add
-not
to any input pin you want inverted.

Because you are running a 7i96, a THCAD will give you a THC for very low cost.

Hi! I have now made the basic configuration and have got the home switches to work! Thank you all for the help!
My next step is to get plasmac working. I hope to get some help with that in another thread.
But i have a question. I don´t seam to get the full picture how it all works. I use Autodesk Inventor and hope to use it´s CAM software to generate the G-code. In plasmac i will configure the float switch to a HAL pin. How will the height probing work? Should i add something in the post processor in Inventors CAM software or will plasmac fix that? Thanks /Andreas

I now have a realy cheap plasma with HF ignition, so in the first stage i will try to get it working. And as i understand the THCAD will not survive a reading with the HF voltage. So for now i will try to get it working wihtout a THC and hopefully soon buy a pilot arc plasma and buy a THCAD card. So i hope it will be soon

Upload the pictures of the plasma inards, we can figure out where to wire the THCAD safely.
And THCAD10 with the added 2 resistors can be used with HF plasma ( and so can THCAD 300 but not recomended), the important part is where to wire it inside the plasma as there is only one safe place for it, directly on the rectifier output.
