PlasmaC without THC? was created by Ekholm
Hi!
Can you run PlasmaC without a THC? I´m not shore how this works, but what I’m after is that i want the height probing (floating z?) part.

Sure, you could set the THC to not enabled.

I couldn't configure it without a THC? At least with the configurator. I tried to change the modes, but none would work without filling in something
I can provide more infomration when im home from work

"You can use PlasmaC with no THC in mode 2 and by ignoring the ARCOK signal." /TommylightI tried to run the PlasmaC configuration and i didn´t manage to fill it the config without a ARKOK signal. See attached picture. I therefore added a not used input (number 1 in picture). Is that how you ment? The move up and down HAL pins are they necessary? It seems that i can't go through the wizard without those? Sorry for the basic questions!I have tried to look for tutorials but didn´t find what i was looking for. So now i added unused ports and the configuration did go through (but haven’t tested yet)

All the entries on the left side are mandatory so you will need to put something in them. After the config is made then you can comment them out in the hal file. You will also need a fake arc-ok signal so you will need to do some editing of the hal file after it is made. When you get all the motion correct and your machine running then post your hal files here and we can help you with the changes required.

Wire the torch.on pin to arc.ok pin in hal.
