the manual is here, the last page, lower RHS shows the machine link.  unfortunately it does not show the torch connector pinout numbers for the link.

Great. I’ll try that tomorrow when I’m with my table. I set it up for the Thcad-10 on plasmac. Did I do it right? I don’t understand that section very well

Also, there’s a file I want to cut. But since the THC is acting up I can’t cut. Could I still cut if Linux can’t electronically detect an arc? If so how would i do that? I need this file cut out today and don’t have much time to figure out the THC deal.

If you are using QtPlasmaC, there is "ignore arc ok" button on the main screen.

For PlasmaC, it's in the Run tab or Run panel, depending how you have it set up in the cutting mode section called "Ignore ArcOK".

For QtPlasmaC, it's in the Control frame of the Main tab and it's called "IGNORE OK"

I placed the wire in the place you mentioned and it worked in the sense that it started the arc! My thc seems to be configured wrong still but this works for what I need at the moment. that being said, this is what it cuts when cutting a circle though 

it cuts lines perfectly fine

backlash or something loose?

problem seems to be on the same axis
note the powermax 45 (non xp) is 50:1 voltage divider, non adjustable.

How do I configure for the backlash on an already configured machine?

also, yeah. Isn’t that what the fuse is for? I don’t understand the plasmac setup for the thcad with the hypertherm section
