THC will not Enable was created by Uthayne
I can't figure out why my THC will not enable and show active while cutting.
I've double checked my material settings and "THC Enable" is checked, and "Enabled" is selected in the THC box frame.
I have verified that this material is being selected when I run a job by picking a different material and watching it be selected at the start of the program.
My config file has mode 1 selected and all of my pins are working. Arc-Ok, Arc Voltage In, etc. I am able to run a job just fine and arc voltage is displayed in the lower left corner. The only thing that is not working is the LEDs for THC Enabled and Active. The THC Velocity Lock LED will light up when it goes into corners as per the velocity lock settings.
Attached is screenshot of gui as well as necessary files for my machine.
In the material config file, Material 4 (16ga FINECUT steel) is the only one I've been using. THC is set to 1 on that one, 0 on all others but you can disregard the other materials.
The two config (.cfg) files were renamed to .txt so I could upload here

Can you run LinuxCNC from a terminal and check to see if there are any error messages while loading.
If Enabled is selected in the THC box frame it will enable THC regardless of what is in the material file. So just having that selected "should" light the THC Enabled LED.

No error messages while running linuxcnc via CLI.
I figured out that if "THC Enable" from material cut parameters is checked and THC is set to Auto, it works. If THC is then set to Disabled, but it is still enabled in cut parameters, it stays on. Same with changing THC to enable.
If THC Enable in cut parameters is not checked, auto works fine (it stays off) . Enable does not turn the LED on though.
It appears that the Auto radio button is the only one that actual polls for the change. Enabled/Disabled in the THC frame will not change what condition was last set by Auto, regardless of what is set in the cut parameters (material) setting.

As of a couple weeks ago. I have it on auto update in the config, so yes?
Edit: Didn't realize the auto update is for the configurator, not plasmac component itself. I was thinking it was like magic and updated plasmac.comp and compiled and installed all by itself.

I guess I'm a bit behind on updates, I'll check next time before I ask questions. I should've known better. Sorry about that!
I'm using a RIP installation.
=======
I just updated to 0.115 - 2020 Apr 24 and it appears that the issue is still there. The Enabled/Disabled radio buttons in the THC frame don't change anything.

Well that will teach me for not being thorough.
It works if you have a Run Tab but not a Run Panel.
I will let you know when I have it fixed.
