I am trying to set up ohmic probing for my plasma machine. When I assign pins in the Configurator some are not saved. The Torch On, Ohmic Probe and Ohmic probe enable Hal pins do not appear anywhere in the Hal files and are also gone when I try to reconfigure.
The other pins show up in the <>connections.hal. I'm not sure what file the Ohmic stuff should be in. I have followed the same syntax as the other pins(parport.0.pin-#-in).
I have a pretty simple setup of a Chinese parallel port BOB and TB6600s. I'm using Plasmac with the Gmoccapy GUI. I'm using the up-down THC option. All I am aiming for is the ability probe before each cut.
Thanks,

All the optional connections except for the powermax should appear in working_config_connections.hal
I just tried a sample with 2.8 and it works fine here.

Are you sure you are using the right ini file to modify and not the original plain machine one ?

I should be using working_config_connections.hal and not the original_working_config_connections.hal, correct?

When you first use Configurator to make a machine it should be a different name to the original base machine then it will create the files it needs and make a backup copy of your original base machine ini and hal file. From then on you work with the files that were created by Configurator in the new <machine-name> directory.

That all looks correct and yes the _original... are just backups of your base machine.

Is your probe LED on all the time, if not does it come on when you do an ohmic test.
