HAL Question was created by snowgoer540
Trying to get my ohmic power supply on a SSR that I have in my cabinet. I want to hook it to output-01 of my 7i76... I borrowed the ohmic stuff from Rod's Spaceship HAL file, and thought it was as easy as changing his output to fit my board.
IE:
However, the Hardware Abstraction Layer is something, despite Reading the Fing Manual, that remains... abstract to me.
I'm sure it's simple, but I can't see it. At any rate, I've attached my files. The ohmic stuff is in the plasma_connections.hal, but I attached the rest for good measure.
Thanks as always.
IE:
net ohmic:power => hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.output-11
to
net ohmic:power => hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.output-01
However, the Hardware Abstraction Layer is something, despite Reading the Fing Manual, that remains... abstract to me.

It doesnt do anything, neither when I click ohmic test, nor probe test with ohmic enabled.
I even watched in the HAL Watch, and the output never changes states.

It might still be a HAL question, ( some input not working/connected righht etc )
but I don't know what plasmac needs to assert ohmic:power

In all honesty it could be something unique to rod’s table...

I think that is all part of the ohmic component.
This line:connects the plasmac.ohmic-enable output pin to the ohmic component. This pin should go True when you do an ohmic test. From there the ohmic component handles everything.
This line:
net plasmac:ohmic-enable plasmac.ohmic-enable => ohmicsense.is-probing
