OK I think I got that. I'll go and see to it.

I was a bit unclear...
What I meant was to rename the existing ~/linuxcnc/configs/BEEFYS_PLASMA directory then run PnCconf and open BEEFYS_PLASMA.pncconf with it and run through to the end to create a new BEEFYS_PLASMA config.
OK I think I got that. I'll go and see to it.

I think you cracked it Phill.
Now on screen:
Voltage Offset = 3793.750
Voltage Scale = 0.007728
And the arc voltage is displaying ZERO instead of 800.

Don't know if it's needed now but here's that backup file.

That is great.
The current PnCconf won't overwrite qtplasmac.prefs so if it existed then the setting would not have been applied.
I have a verson in the wings that will read an existing .prefs and change those two parametrs. It will be a while before it is released though. I probably should add a note to the docs in the meantime.

Done some more checks Phill.
Stuck a 9v battery directly on the THCAD 10v inputs and got 176 volts.
Then stuck the battery across the resistor bank and got 9v, so everything seems to be working perfect there.
What can I say, thank you so much for that help on a Saturday morning. I hope you have a great weekend.
Same goes for you Snowy.
