Can someone help me with this, I made a gcode for spotting in Fusion 360 and activated the tool table for this, configure the treshold in 50v and the time in 200ms for 2mm stainless steel makes the first point and stops waiting for something and does not continue with the next point.

Can you try increasing the spotting time? Some machines do not like short  spotting times we found when we came up with the idea. Mine needs at least 220 ms. Try 600 or more until you get it working.

I tested it at 500ms but after that time the stainless steel plate is completely perforated because it is 2mm, I think I will try a 5mm stainless steel plate.

I think there is some latency from the internal torch relay etc that sets the minimum time that you can do. Before we did the timing thing I used to turn the torch off on receipt of an ArcOK which caused a much larger spot.

If you can do it at 500 ms, try going shorter until it stops working then go up a bit. Thats what I did.

In your gcode you need to add $2 to the M5 lines in the spotting section.

They should read:
M5 $2

Thanks tomorrow I will test timed the latency of the plasma machine relay and I will manually add m5 $ 2 to turn off the torch, I will report the results.

Well I already work at the end adjust the time in 550ms and manually add $ 2 that was missing, I think I am wrong or the postprocessor has that problem.

I had the same problem and asked the same question:

forum.linuxcnc.org/plasmac/42673-postpro...smac?start=20#223698

Who wrote the PP for fusion ?
It shouldn't be too hard to add the " $2" to the Fusion 360 postprocessor ?

Thanks
