This is a GUI for LinuxCNC. It can replace your existing GUI like Axis. If you LinuxCNC config works with Axis and should work with "Probe Basic" - I assume that is the qtpyvcp screen you are referring.
Requires LinuxCNC 2.8 or 2.9

It requires debian stretch, buster or mint preempt rt kernels to work.

Hi Guys,
Just installed a new partition with mint 19.2 and 2.8 linuxcnc as per Tommy's instructions on his mint installation thread. All seems to work great, and runs my cnc router no probs.
Wanted to have a bit of a look at the probe basic sim, so ran through all the instructions on Kurt's qtpyvcp website. I also downloaded the bptouch and mill touch examples. i cant seem to see or access probe basic though. All the other examples are there, but no probe basic.
Not sure if i had done something wrong, or if it has been taken from the examples.
Any help would be great. Hope everyone is having a great festive season. Thanks Matt

You have to pick qtpyvcp sim first, then a second chooser comes up and should have all them in there

Hello Matt,
ProbeBasic has been moved from the QtPyVCP examples to a separate repository to make it easier to maintain. The new PB documentation is located here: kcjengr.github.io/probe_basic
Happy Holidays!
