And what to do with this status. The jog_increment Widget itself works correctly only when pressed axis button does not work out the specified interval when click. Everything works correctly in qtdragon, but how to integrate jog_increments.Widget in qtpyvcp lacks knowledge, and it's too late to learn. Thanks for attention.Don, I thing the data you are looking for is available from the `status:rotation_xy` data channel.

I noticed that the link to widget rules is no longer correct and is now:

Thank you! For some reason my web hosting did not auto-renew, fixed now.
EDIT: I updated the link in JTs original post to the new qtpyvcp, com domain, so it does not redirect.

Is there a possibility to assign keys to actions with Widget Rules?
In axis I assigned a couple of useful keys to my xbox controller,
but they are not working in probe_basic and I would like to use them
in probe_basic.

This would best be done with a plugin.
It could handle the input from the controller and perform the action.
What action the input performed would be easy to define in the YAML config file that defined the plugin.
I'll try to create a basic example, that you can expand if you like.
Cheers,
Kurt

				That would be wonderful.
Qjoypad is the program that reads the input form the controller and converts the
signals into keystrokes.
Thanks again for your immediate answer.

One more question, I have a probe tool, it has a height of 32.1 mm.
Is there a field where I can enter that height to get an offset,
or is that the offset for all probes in the probe tool list.
I'm not sure if I understand that.
The deeper I get the more questions arise....

That is more of an Lcvette question, as he wrote the probing routines.
I'll see if I can get his attention...

probe basic uses the spindle zero height to determine the tool length offset settings. this means if your probe touch plate is mounted stationary on the table you would measure the distance from the home position to the spindle nose touching the touch off plate, that number goes into the spindle zero box. now every tool you measure after this is established will record a tool height that it from the spindle gauge line to the tool tip.
Hope this helps!

Helps a lot, there is little documentation about this wonderful screen to find, on the other hand
it is quite complex. I still have a lot of questions, but I'll try to find out myself, not wasting your
precious time...
