Thank you. After two days i know how to make to motor run. But now the following error of two motor are the same, but still too big sometime with rapid move can up to 1.6mm I think have to tune the motor, but i still dont know how to do it.
So in next step i will try how to input servo load  and digital input to add home switch.

After finish the these step i will update more

Need help using G71,
lenux cnc will not recognize U or W commands.

Thank you

I just put an intel i226-V PCIe card in on igc driver.  It seems silly to get a 2.5G card to run at 100M but it is cheap and works so far with no problems.  You can check the driver list here:  IgH EtherCAT Master: Device Drivers  for supported drivers.

I am also curious if TSN has any effect, I have not seen how this integrates into ethercat or linuxcnc.

Is this also the case with the 5.4.279 kernel?

Can you try commenting out the "addf pwmgen...." in the HAL file?
(this will prevent the spindle PWM working, but will give some indication where the problem might be)

I commented out a # in this line:
#addf pwm gen.make-pulsos base-thread
The spindle doesn't spin, but at least the inverter turns on now.

Yes, it happens with kernel 5.4.279.
And perhaps it's a detail that some have overlooked with this "return to login screen and black screen" freezing factor. But without a doubt, on this same PC that I tried several times with Debian 12 RTAI without success, it finally ran the Linux RTAI that you modified. The PWM and spindle issue is another task that will eventually lead to a solution. In the meantime, I'll keep testing and posting the results if you discover any clues.

Turns out it was a stepper driver.
Apparently I mixed them up while swapping back and forth for testing.
I´m sorry, but thank you for the help!

"Another one has 4.9V to 0.04V and doesn´t work."

Sounds like a wiring issue as it seems there is  no load on that 7I96S output.

Are the outputs wired differentially? (STEP+and STEP- both used)

The voltage changes a bit with load.
The one with the lower voltage has 0.4V at low state, but this one works.
Another one has 4.9V to 0.04V and doesn´t work.

Is that 4.1V under load?

4.1V and no load indicates either a damaged output or low 5V supply

What were the low state voltages of the DIR outputs?

I currently have a custom M6 remap that intermittently gets stuck on a line with an M66 (M66 P7 L3 Q10

I am assuming it's an issue with queue busters in my gcode, and I have a rough understanding of how queue busters work, and why they can cause problems, but I would have thought an M66 is exactly one of the ways to prevent a remapped code or gcode program from getting stuck, as explained here:
linuxcnc.org/docs/html/remap/remap.html#..._position_prediction

The tool change also gets stuck occasionally within the second half of an if statement on a G53 G1 move.

Any general advice around queue busters (or other causes) for a tool change to get intermittently stuck is appreciated!

Edited for clarity

Thank you for the suggestion.
I just measured the DIR signals, they all work fine.
The voltages are between 4.1 and 4.9V which seem a bit low to me, but it should still work with 3.3V.
Any other ideas?

The Kernel Headers are not available for download. Is it necessary, or can I use the one I have here?

The ones on the server are the ones you provided, so yes.
But you don't need them unless you are compiling from source.
And this link works for me...  www.linuxcnc.org/dists/trixie/base/binar...ai-amd64-1_amd64.deb

Thanks, Tommylight told me it was the same one I already had here.

Hi!
Thanks for the interest. I'm currently finalizing the cost analysis based on a small production batch.

My target is to offer a Starter Kit for 99€, which includes:

1x Base Board: (USB interface, ATmega core, 4x Encoder inputs, 3x Analog inputs, and DAC outputs).

2x Expansion Modules: Adding 16 Digital I/O (8+ to the system.

Individual 8-bit expansion modules will be around 20€.

I'm currently refining the 'v2' hardware to eliminate the minor layout issues of the prototypes and optimize for small-scale production (aiming for an initial batch of 30 units). This price point allows me to offer a robust, pre-assembled solution while covering the extensive development of the HAL driver and firmware.

I'll keep you updated on the v2 progress and when I'll be ready to ship!
