Greetings!
First of all, thank you for your advice!!!
It took me a while to realise as a newbie! ))))
Secondly, I want to ask what are the correct steps to take to get help? Do I have to create a separate forum thread or can I ask a question in another one? I'm a complete beginner and don't understand many terms and algorithms, but I'm much better than a month ago!!!))).
I recently bought a ready-made control panel with two Chinese interface boards.
I have a task to connect and configure a 4 axis milling machine.
I have some equipment (a lot of equipment was purchased incorrectly and I can no longer afford unreasonable expenses)
I need help with step-by-step instructions:
1- listing and checking for the relevance of the equipment in relation to my goals
2- firmware for the board in relation to the goals and equipment.
3- help with explaining the connection (I mean connecting the picture of the contacts I made with a marker)
4- setting the machine parameters

It is very difficult for me to connect! It's hard for the first time!
Thank you very much for your support!!!

Thanks Rod, I have an Atem mini Pro Iso, which I use for my live streams, but having it set up for a simple task like screen recording is overkill. For the times I need the screen recorded on the Schaublin I
just use simplescreenrecorder and drop the files onto a thumb drive.

Why it is so hard to install a simple program on Linux, which I have installed easily on two other flavours of linux.?

A bit left field but if this is for your YouTube channel, I use a video switcher and send the Linuxcnc monitor to one input on the switcher ( I had to buy a VGA to HDMI adapter for one machine). The video and audio (from a seperate microphone) gets recorded to SD card on the switcher and I can do picture in picture etc when recording.
I use a MovMagic switcher but a similar one is a Black magic ATEM mni

Hi all,

I am Juxus from Germany and building my first LinuxCNC project: a camshaft grinder. The mechanics are almost done - now it is time to setup the Mesa 7i96s and LinuxCNC. Laptop (Lenovo T450s) is setup and exclusively for operating the machine.

The idea is to run the A axis with an encoder for turning the camshaft and Y axis for positioning the cam against the grinding wheel. X Axis is to positioning the second cam after the first one is done.

I am a total beginner with LinuxCNC and I am thankful for all hints!

Thanks!
Juxus

Looks it will fit. Thank you so much!

Hi,

maybe a silly idea. but you could install Teamviewer and record the screen on your Cutter-PC.

i use Teamviewer all the time on my machines and i cant note any lag.

Greetings
Tom

Today i tested with axis, made an entry in ini:

[HALUI]
MDI_COMMAND = O<work_zero> call

and had this button in glade in postgui.hal
net tb  gladevcp.tb.tog halui.mdi-command-00

The subroutine as before, and the result as before. MDI G0G55X0Y0, when press the button it moves to G0G54X0Y0

I'll try to get to this sometime this week

So, did you create firmware for this setup? I am using this BoB´s in several machines, I would like to switch to driving them by 7i92, but cant find proper pinout in 7i92 firmwares file downloaded from your pages. Or whats the name of file with this pin setup?

Did you take a look at userspace python hal components? Using that you can create hal pins within a python program. As far as I know, you can easily import time and use it. It will just not be running in the realtime kernel. For a central lubrication system I doubt that would be a problem.

I hope there is no misunderstanding, I am sure Chinese topics on this forum are welcome, just like the other languages.

The reason you get very little response from us is we do not understand Chinese and translators take extra time.

I think the way this forum works, the "Other Languages" is the best place to start your new Chinese topics. Just like I did now.

It will be best if some of you who know Chinese are in charge of the Chinese topics, because we can not read it without translation, it would take too much of our time.

The main thing to do if someone is misbehaving, you warn the person. If they continue misbehaving after several warnings, use the "Report This" button to notify the moderators to step in and help you with the misbehaving person.

The "Report This" button is also for reporting harmful spam so the moderators can delete it.

I received the Suswe SU-600 VFD today. I started by getting the motor to rotate. I configured it in Advanced Vector Control with the parameters from the motor's nameplate, but it's not producing any torque. What parameters would I need to configure to get good torque at low RPMs? The motor is rated at 0.86 kW, 380 V, 2.1 A, and 1000 RPM.

I am sticking with LCNC 2.7, as it will be a risk to update to 2.9, given the switch to joints, and the gearbox comp I have working.

I really just want simpescreenrecorder. I use this on both my lathes. I just have little clue of how to get the repository working.

I also tried this method, but it also failed.

Well you could try upgrading to Trixie which has linuxcnc 2.95 and simplescreen recorder as standards. 2.97 is included in testing so you can use APT pinning to get 2.9.7
