You have setup 2 networks on the same 1'st physical network card, the 2'nd network card has nothing set.
WHY????
That will not work, so start new and use this:

Forgot to mention, 7i97T = 7i92T + 7i77
So everything there is valid for your board.

But will it make any sense at all to try to configure the setup as long as I get an “unsupported board”
You should ignore that, it is the older version of mesaflash, you do not need mesaflash at all unless you need to change the board firmware, ever.

As for "easy as...", it is same as everything in life, i can not use an iphone and will never ever learn as it is absolutely not intuitive, but i can operate medical equipment i have never seen before after about 15 seconds of looking at it.
Friendly advice, stop thinking about "mach vs LinuxCNC", they are not the same in any way, shape, or form, except both control machines, Mach is for small simple weekend use machines, LinuxCNC for everything from small engravers to huge industrial machines and fully automated production lines, hence it is simple only for simple machines, it can not be simple for a several ton industrial machine.
Get over it, move on, and start here first and foremost and do not skip anything:

All guides say that grub is updated from this file by " sudo update-grub".

What worked better for running my real machine is to use this script here:-  forum.linuxcnc.org/38-general-linuxcnc-q...rq-affinity?start=60

New builds for a dentist, needed 3 of proper PC's for the new offices, but insisted on plain simple cases, will have to switch of the LED's before sending them as he might have a heart attack! :)
They do boot fast though, very fast:

Will do the boot test on Linux as it should be even faster...

You don't need "20 years of Linux behind you", get rid of that way of thinking. All you need to be able to do is follow instructions, minding syntax and not taking shortcuts, and be able to relay any error messages without leaving anything out. It is also to follow any links in replies, it saves those that reply having to repeat any info.

Oh and mesa wouldn't sell you a product that is deemed to work with Linuxcnc that doesn't .

Did you look at the download PCW attached, I think it was a simple config to get you going.

Upgrading mesaflash from the GitHub page may help with your issue .

Hey Guys,

I was quite busy that week so i didnt get much work into it but here is what i got at this point.

On left down corner you can find a Vakuum button that allows you to switch Clamping variant between a vice or something like that and vacuum clamping. It opens the PopUp on the right side, there you find 4 displays for 4 vacuum plates, your able to switch them on or off depending on how large your workpiece is you can work with 1 or with all 4. The Main Slider down in the middle allows you to set the needed pressure. Every plade is moitored by a single Pressure sensor on a beckhoff EL3124. If the pressure gets lower then the main slider value the system goes immediately in E-Stop mode to provide serios accidents. The main slider may gets removed after i made some experience with the system.

Good info.
I used Nylon tubing in the past. I think. Whatever it was has been holding up well. I'll look into Kynar.

What are the compression fittings you are using on the trucks? That is usually the more difficult part to source due to the odd pitch of 0.75 on some LM blocks.

Push to connect fittings are fantastic except for some that grab the tubing without a proper release mechanism. Meaning the collar that gets pushed in doesn't slip over the teeth to release causing tubing to become shredded during removal. That can contaminate critical components. I wanted to mention that as I recently went through that with cheap fittings.

For a lathe I would need 10 remote ports if direct fed like on your setup. That might be okay.
Equal length tubing may be a solution to avoid metering units if running it off a manifold. Any experience with that?

issues with isolcpus was created by mrmike
I cannot get the isolcpus command line to take effect.  I have set the grub to the following:
savedefault
load_video
insmod gzio
if [ x$grub_platform = xxen ]; then insmod xzio; insmod lzopio; fi
insmod part_msdos
insmod ext2
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set=root a08bfa77-56e1-4ee2-a80a-ccc22b8725cd
echo    'Loading Linux 6.3.0-rt11-linuxcnc ...'
linux    /boot/vmlinuz-6.3.0-rt11-linuxcnc root=UUID=a08bfa77-56e1-4ee2-a80a-ccc22b8725cd ro initrd=/install/gtk/initrd.gz
echo    'Loading initial ramdisk ...'
initrd    /boot/initrd.img-6.3.0-rt11-linuxcnc
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="isocpus=3"

And have changed the last line to 0,1,2 to 0, to 1, and to 2 with no effect.  The histograms show 4 cores no_isolcpus.
This is an intel i5-6500t.
Any ideas?

But will it make any sense at all to try to configure the setup as long as I get an “unsupported board”

A little about the background for the project.
I have over time -as a side business - made several retrofits of older (woodworking)cnc machines
Normally I change the driveline to new hybrid steppers controlled by a plc with a control sw developed by ourselves (or in a few projects Mach 3&4), but in this project I have a huge 7ton Homag with very powerful Rexroth motors and drives where i have modified the drives to analog control.
Therefore I went for a LinuxCNC and a mesa 7i97T.
I accept there is a learning curve but it has been far more complex than expected.

I’m surprised about how many YouTubes are found about “LinuxCNC as easy as Mach3” a statement I have hard to believe unless you have 20 years of Linux behind you
