I was wondering if anyone has any Ideas on my predicament, I have a resolver on my spindle on my lathe project, and its index enable feedback is 2 pulses per rev, Linux only wants 1. It is very evident due to it turning a twin lead thread on my part when I tried a 1"-8 thread. Any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks

That sounds extremely inconvenient.
Is it belt driven? (If it is, then you could probably change the ratio).
How are you reading the resolver? (If it is with the Hostmot2 Resolver component, then I could potentially add a feature to work around this)

I think the only option is for you to change resolvers, or me to change the code.I am using the hostmot2 thru the mesa 5I23/7I49 system.
The latter seems more convenient for you.
I will have a look into it tonight.

That would be awesome, Its the last step and I think my first retrofit is done.
I assume that if you are using the tool offset patch then you are compiling from scratch and can try out an experimental patch?

I couldn't apply the patch like it says to in the git manual. .
To use git am it needs to be a git-format patch, I think.
Othewise you use the patch command.
