Good afternoon.My name is Victor, and I'm restoring a MAHO 600E milling machine and converting it to Linux (the original Philips operating system).Thank you so much for this thread; many questions were resolved using the forum.I received the machine without a spindle motor, coolant system, and most relays.I've already done almost everything; the machine moves and finds its home position.I installed and tested the speed control box; all speeds shift perfectly! (The box is completely identical to yours, although the motors are installed slightly differently.)I've also already configured the lubrication system, hydraulic clamp, and MPG control panel.My question is: what needs to be done next after setting up the simulator? How do I implement this into the .ini or .hal files?I apologize for any inaccuracies in the text of this message; I'm using Google Translate because my English is poor.

Have you already compiled the gearbox comp? I have attached my HAL and Ini files, so you can see the pins you need to connect.
Cheers;

net sig_reducer_left_center mh400e-gearbox.reducer-left-center <= hm2_5i25.0.7i84.0.2.input-03
net sig_middle_left_center mh400e-gearbox.middle-left-center <= hm2_5i25.0.7i84.0.2.input-07
net sig_input_left_center mh400e-gearbox.input-left-center <= hm2_5i25.0.7i84.0.2.input-11
I don't have such inputs on my machine. They are on the 28A1, but they are not in the loops. They immediately increase the resistance when triggered, but do not go to the controller. Can I configure the switching without connecting these signals?

You will need to modify the gearbox comp and recompile it. I didn't write it myself, it was written for me by a friend, so you might need to find someone to do the code changes.

Hello
I figured out the center positions (muted them in the HAL, combining them with the middle position).
All gears shift perfectly!!!
The only thing I can't figure out is why F9 always engages first gear
and after the spindle stops (with any stop command), the transmission shifts to neutral. Is this how it should be, or have I messed up something in the HAL?
